A Sonnet About Me

Bad decisions made, brought me here today My life tattered and torn, starts to decay My soul, weighted down by a life with sin Thick skin, trapping all my demons within
Earning salvation, will take leaps and bounds I will find a way, to turn things around Changes I will make, Before its to late I must repent, as there's no time to wait
I've made, quite a few mistakes in my life But I will, put all my trust in the lord Maybe then, I will lose some of this strife Gods love, it can no longer be ignored
It can't be, stuck here to endlessly roam I pray when its my time, God brings me home

Good job Jeremy, tackling a short verse sonnet! I'm impressed, rhyme and meter are perfect!

Jeremy, this is a good sonnet, and the message is a great one, I like it a lot. I know we have been debating about syllables vs. meter, but I wouldn't want to change anything here :)
