A Single Dove
Passion of his heart, beating fast.
That one true soul, he longs to know.
Those tempting smiles, to be outcast.
He’s found the one, his seed to sow.
Her eyes - the sky; her hair - the sun.
The inner squeeze, of her - he’s pleased.
He dares her space and finds her fun.
This man enrapts her smile, when teased.
The harp’s accord, the zephyr-beast.
So gentle-strong, the wind of love.
They twirl about a moonlight-feast.
Crowd jealous of a single dove.
He plucked mirth-rose in love-blind whim.
They soared in pitch, a soulmate-match.
His chalice, rich - to peak of rim.
The purest rose - a classic catch.
