God speaks to me in silence without words spoken
I only hear God when my soul is quiet-
and in a silent prayer.
I stand above cold graves praying
for those buried there deep beneath the snow.
I only hear God when my soul is quiet-
a frozen red rose and my weeping tears I will leave behind:
and my ocean of sorrow.
I only hear God-
when my soul is quiet
in a silent prayer . . . .
