A Poet Giver of Light

A poet has the art of giving new meaning to how you see life. Poetry puts the I into thinking making one see things through a different light. Walking along natures path, you see the trees yet a poet will see reflections of light through the branches the shape of the tree structure. Will bring this to you in verse, making you say “Oh yes, I see it now” Poetry brings sunshine to your eyes even on a cloudy drizzly day. Making you feel the refreshing rain as it dances on your face. A poet can change your mind into an open receptive vessel. Receiving, accepting, colours of life No longer seeing just black and white. As it did to me.
