A Peek At Perfection
As I walked along the way,
along my path of life today,
I felt a presence I’ve felt before.
A feeling of peace I couldn’t ignore.
Colorful leaves fell from the trees,
The flowers alive with buzzing bees.
All of it seemed ‘twas a part of me.
The creation of God for all to see.
I could see the Creator, through His creation.
A woven spectacle of interrelation.
The colors so blended without hesitation,
Brought on a feeling of exhilaration.
Each year they fall, before the first freeze,
Soon to be escorted by the breeze.
Loosening their grip from the trees,
Fluttering down till they hit ground, are the leaves.
