In her eyes there was nothingness, my mother who had been full of life and joy; I tried to take care of her at home, I really did, nothingness filled her mind and she did not know me. I held her hand long after she was gone, until it was cold. __________________________ May 4, 2016 Poetry/Free Verse/A Mind Of Nothingness Copyright Protected, ID 16-786-541-0 All Rights Reserved. That was short, and very sad. Because of where I work, I've seen many unfortunate souls who survive beyond living. It's hard on everyone. Sorry about your mom. -G
