A Little More Time To Care
A Little More Time to Care
There was a faithful woman blind since birth.
She lived with “Mom” and never was a wife.
Her mother, over ninety, knew the worth.
The blind one bought a condo…her new life.
Later on, she, blind, suddenly died.
Young relatives for “things” quickly turned foes.
Soon death was overcome; her faith thus tried.
Priests blessed her; said, “Arise.” And she arose.
She changed her will; gave one priest everything.
A few weeks later, her dear mother died.
It seemed that life had dealt a bitter sting.
But death returned...together, they abide.
