A Fragile Heart
A fragile heart now in its place
it's the yearning for just a trace,
"Take me. I'm yours", returned but naught.
In your thoughts I would be forgot
your soft touch did more than erase.
A voice deep inside from someplace,
holds out for passion rhythm graces,
a flirtatious glance to be caught.
A fragile heart.
Kiss me, awaken me, embrace
me, lift me on my feet, and lace
the world around me and see what
intimacy we once had sought.
I can never give up the chase.
A fragile heart.
