A Familiar Road 1600th Poem
Down this road, we make another journey.
The sights along the road look familiar to me.
The usual old things just seem to last.
Today, it's the same as it was in the past.
We have had to endure both the hot and the cold.
Despite all the hardship, we didn't fold.
We have had joy along with the strife.
This familiar road is what is known as life.
