A Child Was Born
A child was born with love on Christmas night,
a bright star above pointing to the place;
this one amazing star shining so bright,
even the barn animals bowed with grace.
A bright star above pointing to the place,
the wise men came with great awe to bring gifts;
even the barn animals bowed with grace,
many came from afar through the sand drifts.
The wise men came with great awe to bring gifts,
and from the sky came a heavenly tune;
many came from afar through the sand drifts,
and across the black sky the stars were strewn.
And from the sky came a heavenly tune,
this one amazing star shining so bright;
and across the black sky the stars were strewn,
a child was born with love on Christmas night.
