A Brief Encounter

A classic movie for many generations made in '45 after world war 2 ends brief encounter, a real romantic epic Alec and Laura found love to blend These two were happily married to their own spouses no doubt but they met waiting on a train not realizing that their love was about A brief moment between two people where it leads one never knows a glance or a smile so becoming turns one's heart secretly shows This was in an age of decency a far cry from today's cinema where there's nothing barred at all love means lust as nothing can stall Wherever we're placed in our world providence takes round many a corner be sure be faithful to your life partner protect yourself in your marriage armour ( Having watched again recently Brief Encounter the movie, thought of many lessons to learn from the film made in 1945 which is still a classic today.)

A very solemn advice ! The sanctity of marriage is lost and love stoops to mere lust ! It is so sad . Unfortunately the celluloid projects such notions !

You raise valid points here, Gordon. I believe that many films and soap operas have been ridiculing the values on which we based our lives. Now you tempt me to go check out this film you mention. ~ Regards // paul

Hi, Gordon, I enjoyed you poem. There doesn't seem to be any morals these days. I don't even like the movies of today. The movies in the 40's always had class. Thanks for touching on this subject. Faithfulness is a must for a good marriage. Blessings ~ Debra
