A Blessed Bud

It was a whole new phase. She was glowing from within. It had been a long, long time. Her husband would be happy, very happy, though he may not understand it fully. She would tell him today.
a bud has been formed fresh fragrance amidst life's thorns ten year wait over
Eight months now. She couldn't wait to see her mother. She would understand completely, for she had been through the exact exciting experience before. Together, she set out with her husband happily, in their car. He would miss her tomorrow.
both their eyes drop pearls away from him the first time the bud will soon bloom
It was all too sudden. Wiping his eyes while talking to his wife, he forgot the road. Car out of control. Brakes applied. Crash. He survived with few scratches. She was serious, unconscious. Rush to hospital.
crying out prayers save either mother or child life nipped in the bud
Three tense hours. He can't bear it. Pain rips his heart apart. What would he tell his wife? Oh God..! Would she ever forgive him? Could he ever forgive himself? Ten long years... Oh God, please...!!
God answered prayers his beloved made it through their son kisses life

Oh, what a relief when I got to the end of this one, JO. I just love that last line: their son kisses life, and I enjoyed how you referred to him a a bud. THey can call him Buddy, the miracle baby.COOL Haibun.

Jo, your Haibun offered just enough mystery to keep the reader thinking...is it a baby, maybe not. Suspense kept building and then the goose bump moment! God does answer prayers. Loved the happy ending, and a BIG well done to you.
