Rosebud in Ice Storm:

Serenity and a noble soul a bit touched by melancoly.The poem may be sung and it reminds me of the warm voice of Harry Belafonte: Hans without you, September comes...I let open the door for that feeling. Beyond the clear icy air, the moon of the poets taking a bath in silver dust, between reality and sweet reveries the noble soul is awaken.

That's OK then Anne-Lise. I like to keep a nice 25 degree inside at all times. If there was a mass exodus from the house, I used to shout "Paratroupers" to my children, to remind them they must not dally in the doorway. (Mad mother me).

A beautiful gathering of poetic couplets inspired by the month of November. I could feel the chill in the air and the scent of a fireplace bellowing it's smoke through the chimney in your wonderful words, sadly it is still quite warm where I live and fall is not around the corner. But with your poem I can certainly dream that it is.
