Honey I'M Home

Honey I'm Home Honey I'm home, words that are said day in and day out. With that little peck on the cheek, and " What's for dinner". Words that mean the world to you, when they are no longer heard by ear, only in your memories of what used to be a daily recite. Anne Rutherford 01 / 2014 For Dr. Rams contest Honey I'm Home

A short but meaningful poem, Anne. Those simple words, once perhaps taken for granted, take on a larger meaning when we know that they will be uttered no more. ~ Regards // paul

or your turn to make the coffee, an after thought don't cease, mental connection sticks like toffee, and you make it to them please...

My dear sister, I know you are missing your dear spouse and just know that we are so close to all going home in the rapture! Hang on Anne! Just hang on a while longer. Your poem for Dr. Ram's contest is soul-stirring. You and your spouse's souls are tied in a beautiful bow for all eternity. After all these years I am going to visit John Aaron in Oklahoma, sister. I will meet him and his girlfriend and do much ministry work. I am elated. I will tell him that you said Hello too! Hugs sister.

Anne, in a way I'm moved by your poem. The sweet feeling, to know someone is there and cares. Sadly, when it all becomes a memory held in by the heart ... Enjoyed...LINDA

Anne, this is a deeper meaning now. My heart goes out to you....and I feel ashamed....ashamed of all the things that make me cry. I have experience pain and death. My mother died of MS...Growing up...I knew she was going to die...and I had to go through seeing her going from a well loved teacher...to a shunned wheelchair bound woman who prayed to die. I know a little of pain...yes. Losing a husband must be brutal. I hope that you find the courage to go on...for him. Hugs...
