I have been having a bout of insomnia lately, and this just fell into my head, so this is for all my fellow insomniacs!

My paper, my pen My 2 a.m. companions When the words speak And won't let me sleep-

I can relate! I keep pieces of cardboard to put down ideas for poems at work, and all kinds of pens, pencils, and tablets at home, but I have a ps4 and movies and recorded shows that also steal my time. One thing about it, when I do sleep, I'm out like a light!! Well penned my friend!!..............pat

Count me in as a premier member of the insomniac's club. Your poem sums it up quite nicely … Last night/this morning I was up at 3:45 a.m. finishing 'A Lone Gunslinger.' It just wouldn't let me sleep... C'est la vie, I guess. ~ Gershon

That's fun - I'd take that any day over a silent muse. Well penned, Michelle.
