Over time, anger was built into our sisterhood. We were linked as Cain and Abel, Jesus and Judas, Othello and Lago, Prospero and Caliban. Real hurts, imagined hurts, and new hurts were heaped on top of past hurts. The escalating spiral had no way of stopping. Mother had no understanding of our innate competitiveness toward each other.

hi Sunshine you have painted fear beautifully. i enjoyed your slection of words ..." the fog of illusion" A rabbit foot in the pocket" and the last lines "Each fiber in the body seeks salvation Water can be converted into wine Beauty can be difficult to find"

Darkness is the light's best friends. At times I get badly depressed. But (and speaking now from a position of health, I would not want to miss all those dark days and nights. I do not drink wine, but in the metaphoric sense I believe, that if one can walk upon water, the droughts are manageable. Lots of wishes, Kai

we had a president that said the only thing to fear was fear itself...you are correct no rabbit foot can protect you from yourself...
