~ Never trust a "spider" ... the wonderful edifice is death ~ - quote by poet - A first-class weaver throughout the night undisturbed in work its sinister plan all threads have their function attached to the walls in the corner of the kitchen A gourmet meal body, bones and paper thin wings disappeared on your tongue death was clearly paralyzing while the blood still warm Breath stopped short in my chest sent chills up and down my spine Greedily it ate the fly Name not mentioned - trust is as an eraser decreases by time and use the dawn was merciless and gray as a brick wall without graffiti

Anne-Lise, you've woven in words a potent reminder! You've made, through terrific imagery, poetically clear that trust doesn't always pay off especially when hypnotized by beauty!!! Well done!! hHppy Thursday xxoo

Chilling. I thought perfection, yet I didn't Get it" name not mentioned" threw me off. Otherwise I am faving. Stings like O what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive! Great word chosen. :)

- We are often attracted to beauty... beauty has its mask... and not always a mask to trust... the spider makes its beautiful web for food, Anaya :) - Many thanks for your comment :) - hugs

Masterpiece of a poem, not only with a lot of imagery, but also dark. The spider moments actions. You pick the most beautiful photos.

The drama of a sudden death lies inside the spider's beautiful, illusory, silken web. Beautifully written, Anne-Lise. :)

Exquisitely capturing the intricate craftsmanship of a spider, their innate ingenuity is indisputable. Undoubtedly a big winner.

- The meaning lies a little deeper than the spider itself, Las ... beauty without heart/soul is not to be trusted ... the beautiful web is not to be trusted ... if you get caught ... death is yours fate - Thank you for your comment :) - hugs

Excellent write, Anne-Lise! A fave for me! I can picture the attachment of the threads to the walls of the kitchen…the gourmet meal of body, bones and paper thin wings. One of your best for me! Love the quote too!
