I've picked
many bouquets
with dandelion
A child's hand
gave them to her mother
// Weeds ... she said
Sunshine ... I said
They were put in water
the next day they were gone //
A child's hand
picked a fresh bouquet
to her mother
// Weeds ... she said
Sunshine ... I said
They were put in water
the next day they were gone //
A child's hand
made a pretty
flower wreath
of the sunshine flowers
//Throw it ... said her mother
... you will get warts on your hands //
Dandelion is just
as gorgeous today
Brave and strong
- I have no warts
on my hands
- A impossible weed,
some would say
