My dad use to go hunting in the fall in the hope of helping to provide for our large family. I remember my sister and I one chilly fall morning listening to the hum of the jeep as my dad left for a hunting trip in Northern California. We stood and waited as the hum of the engine died away as they drove into that quiet grey morning. This really evoked memories of my dad. Thank you for writing this excellent poem.

It is a pity to se random killing. We have always an on going fight in Malta where we have more guns than birds. Hugs.

- We have strict rules when it comes to buying weapons in Norway... (but, many know how to avoid the rules... unfortunately) - Hunting has been held for more than two million years ago... but, only for hunger - hugs // Anne-Lise :)
