After the war in Norway May 8, 1945 Many lost and great poverty, the whole country looked like battlefield My grandfather's father left wife and children And traveled to America Find happiness and make big money Never a letter, never a word ... no traces He was deeply missed the family searched and searched After many, many years The young man became old and he died a long time ago He got a new name and new family Children and grandchildren still live My great-grandfather I never met Family tree complete 20.08.2018 Sun :) A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

Great story in beautiful verse my good friend. You and your family are blessed to have found the truth and all those new relatives. WW2 was so very terrible, the loss of life, destruction of families and its shocking aftermath of carnage left behind. Sad but also has the positive of having found many new relatives.. A fav my friend..
