Sparkling snow crystals in a bright blue winter wonderland in your hand A lovely thought about my pretty and beloved mother land If you see angels in the snow you can remember the time with romance Enjoy the tranquility descend while giving your childhood a second chance Snow glistened and sparkled as the most beautiful diamonds at first glance It was almost a little magic in what happened.... or was it romance Childhood memories aroused when you see the rabbit tracks in the snow by chance Oh, so rich I felt as a child in the clear, cold winter nights in snow crystals dance Small red kids boots in sharp contrast to the white snow and a diamond remnants Childrens eyes shining in delight and snow crystals sparkle of happiness evidence 06.01.2014 A-L Andresen :) Sponsor :Gail Angel Doyle Contest Name:A Diamond's Remnants Deadline: 1/15/2014 12:00:00 (5th in the contest)

Dear Gail, Lovely imagery and rhythm. Who doesn't love making angels in the snow! And we are never too old (or young) for this. As the leaves are falling and blowing in the window in front of me, I am dreading the winters chores around the corner. Your poem will remind me to take time to play in the snow this year. Thanks!

Very similar to your Alve Queen but this one I can relate to. Love that last set of couplets. It appeals to the grandma in me and the teacher. When I was a child we walked to school through a cemetery which was never cleared off, so little red boots were a common item in the winter.

as much as i dislike winter because of the cold, the snow is always so beautiful to look at, it does sparkle diamond-like in the sun and i always have enjoyed making snow angels, thank you for the jounry back through my mind and a smile on this winter day! Hugs...lovely write my friend!
