- A Spectacular Light Reflection -

   - World consumption is increasing in line with population growth and
prosperity - change light bulbs and there will be light - quote by poet

   Among the antiques
   Large aesthetic prism chandeliers
will aim stars in your eyes
Let us embrace this sparkling light
   A decorative object
Each prism as a shiny mirror
   from rock crystal
   or semi-precious stones
   such as quartz and amber

   A wilderness of mirrors
Crystal glasses, silver cutlery and decanters - multiplied
With the prism chandelier above the table
where words bloom in every celebration
   A timeless rhythm of togetherness
   amidst laughter and shared moments
The ravages of time has been preserved

A gorgeously laid out table with crystal wares and chandeliers made of precious stones hung above with each stone working as a beautiful prism deflecting light in rainbow hues. Beautiful image and a lovely poem, dear Anne. Hugs :)

Anne-Lise, interesting comment you make about changing the light source. We live in a planet that's full of spectacular views, and even the ones we make inside can be amazing as you point out. There's and allegory here for what's inside of us too. We just need to be able to see and appreciate it.

A pretty poem! The best thing is conversation amidst the quartz, amber, and the wilderness of mirrors! Happy Tuesday, Anne-Lise!

We require less external illumination when we discover our inner light. Beautiful depiction of internal light, Anne-Lise, well done!

A lovely home...yes, what we wear, where we live and how, is all about capturing and expressing inner Light -- Anyway, life should be so, when we get it right. A universe of baubles out there for our offspring yet to acquire and explore. Someday, to realize, we had it all inside of us from the beginning.
