Poetry contest: Three options in I, sponsored by Constance La France. Submitted on 7/25/25. Pic from inspired pencil.com.

“That first kiss, the moment when time stands still.” – Unknown We met at the park while walking my dog It was warm and the air was full of smog I was choking, and tried to catch my breath A man came with water, said he is Seth His eyes were sparkling blue and locked with mine He invited me to lunch, on his dime We met at the new café, at the bay Talking for hours, it was a special day Back at my car he asked me for a kiss We kissed as I felt butterflies and bliss

Dear Tania, your words are simple in the best way, clean, honest, and human. You didn’t try to overcomplicate the magic. You just let it be. That’s not easy to do, but you nailed it. Great Read! Summer Blessings, Dear Tania, Danie
