February Funny Bone
In the month of February 'twas fate
We chose our special wedding date
A love, I cannot explain
Couldn’t wait to take his name
So why do I still hyphenate?

Shotgun Wedding
Pa held shotgun to his head
"Marry her son or you're dead"
"It wasn't me" the lad pled
"Yes it was" she said

A Wedding Proposal
Walk beside me and be my wife,
Enjoy with me this beauty we call life.
My heart glows with happiness when you are near.
I want to be with you forever, my dear.
I tremble at your every touch,
This is because I love you so much.
If there was only one wish I could have today,
It would be to feel this way each and every day.
The sound of your voice fills my heart.
Is there nothing that can keep us apart?
Yesterday is just a dream, our future yet to express.
Let us share this life with our same name and address.
I hope you always say yes!

I Shall Not Burn
I have done with love and lust,
I reck not for gold or fame;
I await familiar dust
These frail fingers to reclaim:
Not for me the tiger flame.
Not for me the furnace glow,
Rage of fire and ashen doom;
To sweet earth my bones bestow
Where above a lowly tomb
January roses bloom.
Fools and fools and fools are you
Who your dears to fires confide;
Give to Mother Earth her due:
Flesh may waste but bone will bide,--
Let loved ones lie side by side.
Let God's Acre ever dream;
Shed your tears and blossoms bring;
On age-burnished bone will gleam
Crucifix and wedding ring:
Graves are for sweet comforting.
Curst be those who my remains
Hurl to horror of the flames!

Prince Harry and Megan
Duchess of Sussex nee Megan Markle
From an actress to a Duchess with diamonds that sparkle
Just like in the movies enchanting Prince Harry
Now forever doth have servants, for to fetch and to carry
Duke of Sussex our Prince Harry
Females young and old, dreamt it would be them he’d marry
Loving him; desiring him; imagining life with handsome Prince Redhead
Day dreams destroyed that historic day, when Harry wed Megan instead

After the Romance
after the romance
came boredom and arguments
then divorce papers

Their Wedding File
His wait for a while can be difficile,
but he's gone docile seeing her profile,
walking down the aisle with her charming smile,
she's here to beguile him in her grand style,
more compliments pile on their wedding file -
their dream domicile makes it all worthwhile.

Being Messenger of Words Between Baba and Mama
Greeting of the day
Is here to convey
The earnest recognition of affection
Directly from the heaven
Wrapped in his divine invisibility
Enclosed within her words
Sent towards you, to wish in bliss
What he remembers

Happy Wedding Anniversary
Happy Nuptial Anniversary
E-ndless love for each other
D-oes work wonderful things;
U-nder God's guidance they endure
A-ll forms of trials that life brings.
R-eal love remains in second January,
D-espite distress and sorrow;
O-vercoming all kinds of trouble, they hope for a brighter tomorrow.
A-gainst all odds they stay steadfast,
N-o matter what happens;
D-rifting in the stormy weather, they brave the strong winds.
L-iving together in a lifetime,
Y-ears thirty-four long, isn't easy;
N-ow is the moment to greet them,
N-uptial anniversary may be happy!

Far From the Frown
B-ed of flowers as the love is shared
E-arly since '96 January seventeenth;
R-oses in red, white, and yellow
N-eed the rain to feel content.
A-lways and forever we'll be
R-emaining tough standing in the rain;
D-evoted to each other, even if at times grimacing in pain.
&
M-oon may not always be full,
A-t times it's half or in crescent,
I-n a love of a lifetime, changes are in a rise or in descent.
L-et the Lord hold us together,
E-ven when the sun is down;
E-ach day after every night,
N-ew dawn smiles far from the frown.
