When Weather Whispers Wedding

April
awesome arrival
await always avidly
as augurs amour

Betrothed
besotted belle beau
both blossom beautifully
beget baby boy

Cherish
crickets chirp constant
cockerel clarion call
can calm crying child

Wedding Day

He can picture her in her wedding dress and she can see him waiting as she walks down the aisle

I can’t wait for this moment

My reoccurring dream to come true

Waiting for you finally my love can live

I’m getting weak with time constantly pushing back

Finding now that I can’t sleep

Helplessly searching for sleep so I could maybe make out the beauty of my bride to be

p.s. every time she is about to turn around my eyes awake from sleep…

Wedding Bell Blues

Our Rabbi wasn't quite sure what to do
Had no lessons on this in Rabbi school
Lift her MASK or her VEIL?
   Oy, our Rabbi turned pale
Just then all the guests shouted, "April Fools!"

Queen Annes Lace

A seamstress’s aching hands were throbbing,
As the last pearl was sewn into the wear,
The dress was elegant and eye stopping,
A matching veil laid upon her soft hair.
Blue eyes lock on her own emerald greens...

Her walk towards him glowed with soft floating grace,
Their promises sealed and locked their lips,
Later their night alone goes Queen Anne’s lace,
And into passion the newly wed slips- Then arrives their future in hopeful dreams.

I Love You

I love you, you love me.
The wife of my heart, eyes to see.
Bad things past, old things are new.
