Children off to college. We cannot hold on too long to anything of this world, even what is dearly heartfelt. Nothing was ever ours alone, to claim and keep.

“ You need an open mind to access imagination. You need imagination to access the enormity of the Divine. Linear life is a mechanism to collapse itself for this need to properly fruit, paradoxical as this may sound. When this occurs, imagination becomes reality and all that seems inanimate becomes animate”

Why is the following analogy of wisdom important?
Some will think inside the box.
Some will think outside the box.
Others will think inside the box,
outside the box and as the box.
Clearly, there is no box. WHY?
You cannot contain knowledge in any vessel.
If you do, it will stagnate and become useless.
All the knowledge we know now can fit on a table.
Outside this table is unknown knowledge of various
forms, spiritual, emotional, mental, and so on.
This knowledge is infinite.

God knows all. For me, it is not His unwillingness to explain, but that we hear, more clearly, first our desires.

When I start to write, I try to make of myself a blank slate...left with just the impulse that got me there, at the lone scrimmage. I sit quietly...waiting.... Until an interesting thought or phrase, can be even one word eagerly presenting itself. Then I begin the poem, letting the impulse lead beyond. To me, poetry, along with everything else a writer uses for definition and motivation, above all else is viewed as sacred -- alive and independent literary expression in a manic, schizoid way:)

Better to love before bed. The children learn early in the womb, whether virtuous bride and groom.

Love can be clearly offered, no strings attached...but a heart that no longer feels tenderness, blindly sees -- will not reciprocate. Compounding the tragedy...also alienated from precious self.

One does not write about a whole lot of different things, subjects, without having done a whole lot of different things, subjects already and those made-up (Imagination, a soullful consort of the aritist) -- a lot I am not particularly prowd of...and a lot I am. It is a spicy mix that salts and peppers poetry of interest. Not a necessity, but far easier to write after one has actually done something.
