In this age of Grace
(which doesn't mean we abrogate
but fulfill the law) we are to be:
A prophet by encouraging what God's Word says, and by warning of what God's Word says (Ezekiel 3:21)
we are to be a priest by ministering to others to serve others graciously
(2 Cor. 9:7)
and we are to be kings as we rule our lives according to godly living (1 Peter 2)
1 Peter 4:11c "that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ"

If you keep count of your desires in love, love breaks. And if you keep count of your sacrifices in friendship, friendship breaks.

In an existence rife with disappointment, happiness must seem a fabled luxury, relegated to a distant past in the envelope of youth where obligation is an undiscovered theme and need exists in its pristine state, devoid of any attachment. If distance lends perspective, happiness will forever remain a legacy whose true value may only be appreciated in contrast to our misery.

Today Oedipalism is still rife in many families. And Oedipalism doesn’t mean sleeping with the parent of the opposite sex when an adult. In the vast majority of cases Oedipalism exists at the emotional and psychological level. Divinity does not approve of this extreme type of soul co-dependence. Any WHY does God not approve of this ? Because it means that the souls involved cannot move in independence back into HIS embrace.

Even no one appreciated you, look forward, work to the best of your ability because someday and somehow, you will remember not how many works you have done, not how fast you are, but for the consistency of your efforts and sacrifice you put into your works.
