I prefer to seek acceptance
of God, rather than that of
man. Man wants things,
great achievements -- when
God only wants my love….
What man is most careless
with – abuses and discards
often at mere whim….

I know the science of bird flight...but it still all seems rather magical to me -- I choose often to believe in miracles over doubt.

like it or not, the problem with this beautiful Zambia isn't anything rather than greed. Every single Zambian who gets an opportunity to make sense, will rather only want to quickly enrich himself/ themselves at d detriment of others. And yet, nothing, I mean, NOTHING! will happen. This, my brother is the problem.
Patriotism comes when there is progress. Nobody want to tap his chest and say that mad man scavenging from that Waste bin is my son, brother, father, etc.

I would rather walk down a path with unknown animals, than walk down a alley with unknown humans.

On charity and generosity: "Small things to me rather easily done are so big to some, for those with none." from the poem "Gratitude" by Max Burchett.

Being creative is not a question you must answer, but rather a life you must live.
|
Humanity's issue is not with what is occurring, but rather with what humans cause to occur.
|
Some men can't be trusted when their humbleness is replaced by pride; that's when the Devil gives them the power to conquer and destroy. Don't be remembered for your wickedness, rather be remembered for your kindness of heart.
|
Confidence is not knowing a good outcome will occur, but rather the lack of fear of the worse ones.
|
Humankind is the main cause for war, suffering, death and chaos. Only God, our Creator, is the true source of peace. All free men will fight and rather than being enslaved by the New World Order yet to come.

i would rather walk in the sunshine
than hide myself away in shadows

“I would rather live in a matchbox with happiness that fills a mansion, than live in a mansion with happiness that fills a matchbox.”

Trying is for the resilient, strong and courageous who sweep away their fears to stand on battle ground and face their enemy, not as test or trial, but rather as an ultimate task. In the end,it pays off bilaterally,as lessons learnt,or as rewards attained.
|
It's not, 'Why am I here', that's important to ask oneself, but rather, 'What am I here for', that needs answering.
|
Wise minds tend not rage the lost or stolen.... rather, discover gained knowledge and perspective to sterilize repetition.

It is an ultimate joy to know your potential.
The great agony I don't wish even to those who chose to be my enemies, is to be swaying back and forth like the waves of the sea,
Escorting others to reach their dreams.
Rather stay back and reach out to that inner child within who once had a dream.
|
In a time of need, I would rather meet a million strangers with a friendly dollar, than have a million friends who are not really, my friend.
|
children need models rather than critics. Joseph Joubert,
|
Don't put your tears in a bottle, rather sprinkle them on the waves and wait for the darkness when they'll become stars.
|
if my suffering today will be something i will forget tomorrow, I wish to not suffer anymore. Rather i shall live for today
|
It is not what one does that defines them, rather it is how you do what you do and why you do what you do.

Steps towards what we wish to get always start with a first one, and rather than looking back to see how far we have travelled from the starting point, we should just know where we are.
|
"Don't judge a man based on his mistakes. Rather, judge him on how, or if he tries to better himself."
|
Depression is just an illusion , if you stop believing it exists and that life is too short to always be sad then you will realise that depression is not even real and rather a thought...
|
When one continually sees what is wrong with people, things or events; it is inherent that their focus is on the appearence rather than the true essence of that person, thing or event.
|
Every angel is terrifying. And yet, alas, I invoke you, one of the soul's lethal raptors, well aware of your nature. As in the days of Tobias, when one of you, obscuring his radiance, stood at the simple threshold, appearing ordinary rather than appalling while the curious youth peered through the window. ('Rilke's Second Elegy' by Rainer Maria Rilke, loose translation by Michael R. Burch)

However busy our life may be, it is always worth sitting and recollecting what good we could do for others rather than counting what we have gained.
