Best relationship advice I received: People are often attracted to what they know they can lose.
Often times we fight a losing battle

Always some regrets, curiosities...always wondering, if only slightly, of road not traveled...life is really too short -- our nature to want to wander where we wonder.

There's no small amount when it comes to giving of yourself. Give what you can, avoid glances of humiliation. Those are malevolent stares of wealthy people that give for gain lacking the joy in generosity.

'The mind is a silent force shaping worlds within and without; cultivate mindfulness, intentionality, and positivity in your thoughts.' - Aloo Denish Obiero

There will always be people for whom (no matter how sweet the blessings), the cup is half empty. For these chronic pessimists, I say try the power of two P-words: first and foremost; prayer, and secondly; positive thinking. Focus on the blessings God has given, and even though the cup may not be running over, give thanks for the portion that is half full. Things could always be worse!

Life is a journey of crossing borders, of overcoming fear and taking risks, of being glad you tried, of losing oneself and of growth.

Spontaneity is childlike wonder, it is simplicity, abandon and curiosity; but, it takes 'courage' to embrace the unexpected.

Jesus won by losing

History is about empire. The bible was written in the context of empire. Jesus went behind enemy lines and conquered empire by a cross. Jesus won by losing.

On charity and generosity: "Small things to me rather easily done are so big to some, for those with none." from the poem "Gratitude" by Max Burchett.

All stories written and lived are Light and Dark. Some are geared more towards exposing the light, as they reveal dark. Humour is both Light and Dark; perhaps in some instances humour is borne from dark. To experience Light, dark exposes itself, subtly or confronting. Without night, there is no morning.

I have learned more from Silence than anything I have ever read nor heard preached. Quieting myself from the chatter of the world, from egoistic, pompous platforms, the many scientific podiums raucously orating -- God is always speaking to us positively within the Silence, while the Devil, a voluminous orchestra of brassy-pride, doubts and fears rattling our physical senses, negatively affecting our thought processing. Silence is our larger ear, wax free:)

We have managed to get through a lot of challenges. Things may be difficult, but there's still hope.
Memories from 2020:
There's a lot of fear out there... And it's OK to be frightened... But let's all try to focus on the positive things in our lives and have faith that everything will be fine... It may be completely different... But it will be fine.
One moment, one minute, one hour, one day at a time... You can do it!

Curiosity, in its purest form, also nurtures the essence of creativity. It encourages us to view things from new perspectives, to imagine the unimaginable, and to create what has never been created before.

For within the heart of curiosity, lies the secret of greatness.
