One does not write about a whole lot of different things, subjects, without having done a whole lot of different things, subjects already and those made-up (Imagination, a soullful consort of the aritist) -- a lot I am not particularly prowd of...and a lot I am. It is a spicy mix that salts and peppers poetry of interest. Not a necessity, but far easier to write after one has actually done something.

To have faith in others is testing human reasoning: do the less fortunate have the same treatment as the lucky, or wealthy ones? Society is unfair and favors the elite, or the ones who flatter them to obtain favoritism.

A Black section on Poetrysoup is a strange thing when you're British. A section creating separation is only different to segregation in that it's a free choosing to look inward and not outward at others. Strengthening occurs on the inside weakening the link to the outside. Preventing integration.

If you don't love Muslims or Hindus, it is useless to send missionaries to them. Fear of other religions never made real converts. Ask historians of British and Spanish empires why Hinduism and other religions outlasted those Europeans and missionaries until now
