When I add water to the birdbath each morning, lots of bees show up to take drinks while birds approvingly tweeting. The little colorful love-birds are the bravest, flapping around me while in my connected process. Water, birds, bees, dogs, fleas...somehow it all works out for the best when each does its small part.

A life of satisfaction can be the graveyard of dreams.
A life of success is where dreams become reality.

Do not wait for the door to open; the impossible is best accessed by walking through the wall of your own hesitation.

Rule No 6: Stay humble. Because of the two preceding life lessons, you really don't have any reason to brag. Humility is another virtue that you must learn to master on your way to success.

Any poem involves three people: 1) the person who wrote it, 2) the person who speaks it, and 3) the person who reads it. To confuse the first person with the second person is to guarantee the poem won't be successful, which is why so few successful poems are being written today. The poet's goal instead should be to bring the second and third persons as close together as possible.

A successful poem is not an expression of emotion, it is a creating of emotion.

Trying to make a poem successful by having it express important moral truths is cheating and, what’s worse, won’t work.
