Contest Description

What to Submit?

1 original, poem on the theme of Women's World Cup Football/Soccer
The contest theme is not just limited to this year's Women's World Cup, but relates to the Women's World Cup in general, emcompassing the past, present and future.

For example, you could write about how football affected your life (positive or negative effect) when you were growing up, or even affects you now.

Have you ever attended a World Cup match?  You could write about the player(s) or team(s) you love, or those you love less; a favorite moment in Women's World Cup history; whether or not you even like football.

You could write about how your spouse or significant other did or didn't like football and you were just the opposite.  What did you do when your spouse was engrossed in the World Cup, or football in general?  Or what did they do when you were?

How do you feel about FIFA?  Any feelings about whether or not the United States Women's National Team will repeat as champions?  There are so many different ways you could go with this.

Any form is acceptable.  Choose your own title.  Please do not put your name anywhere on your submission.  Be careful with spelling and punctuation (if used).  MIMINUM 10 LINES - MAXIMUM 30 LINES.  The date, title of the contest and sponsor must be at the bottom.
