Janis Thompson is a retired educator whose career involved teaching high school English, being a reading specialist and an administrator.   She is a mother and a grandmother of two who has been writing poetry since childhood.  Janis has a Bachelor's Degree from Juniata College and a Master's from Johns Hopkins University.  She enjoys watching vintage movies.

It is my computer or can we not delete poems anymore or see the date and the form of the poem listed?  Also when you log on, you have to go to submit poems to get to your menu.

Is this new?

It depends what device you are using, on my computer, I see everything, on my cell I do not see the date or form, but do have the delete button

These actions only occur on my small notebooks not my PC. I don't have any problems deleting.

I just logged on anew. It has been fixed. I can see the date, form and delete now. Thanks everyone out there. Crazy stuff!

I lost my delete ability this morning and had no choice but to leave two, twin, Cay-Cay boxes, bunk-bed style on one of Andrea's poems. I all but cussed trying to delete the 2nd box and all to no avail, the best I could do was delete the twin message within and sit in that empty box smiling like I belonged exactly right there. When dates / forms don't show on my screen, I'v learned its due to my magnification level. Not so the view of me in an empty box. Glad you restored your Soup! All the best ... CayCay

from what perspective can you not see these things? I go to "manage your poems" and I can see the dates and forms of everything. You can organize your poems by titles, dates, form, etc. I wonder what you were seeing before that was different .

Hello, Sian, I just checked and I am not experiencing the problem you posted. I have not tried to delete a poem, but I can still see the date and the form under 'Manage Poems' and do not have to go to 'Submit Poems' to get to the menu. So sorry you are experiencing this. Sandra
