Dear Soupers,
I hope you are all having a lovely day with your loved ones.
I sincerely apologize to the genuine poets here who have been concerned about my absence and wondering about my whereabouts. I needed time to focus on my health, work on my book, and give proper attention to other important things in my real life. If my silence hurt anyone at all, I truly ask for your forgiveness and kindness.
And there were certain things that did not align with my principles, such as authenticity in writing and kindness toward all shades of life.
I wanted to also take a moment today to appreciate all the Soupers who have inspired me in various ways throughout my journey of healing and love. I have learned so much from many talented and authentic poets here. I am sincerely and deeply grateful as I share with you that my book, Ink Bleeds and the Moon Weeps, is now available on Amazon.
I wanted to share this moment with you all because this space has been poetically sacred to me during a vulnerable time in my journey.
Thank you for teaching me so much. Thank you for supporting me, and thank you for patiently giving me the time to heal and rise again.
I am not saying I am here to stay; I simply felt that today was a beautiful day to share this and give back in any way I can.
Life is not always easy, and I learned from you all to appreciate the little things, but never to settle for dishonesty or disrespect.
As I am running out of words to thank you, I will end this blog by sending all my friends here on Soup love and light, today and always.
