I was lucky enough from 2 years old to mainly live first in Las Palmos then at 8 we moved to Tanganika whIch was a wonderful place to live and I saw many things and had great experiences My poem Walk with me tells of some of them and left me with a great love of nature

I have now written 4 books with a 5th on its way then I think I may call it a day as I am not in the best of health life can be a stuggle And my 75 th birhday is in March

I had to drop ""Only one true thing ~ Lets Rhyme from 3rd place to 9th because he did not follow contest rules in fairness to those who did I could have disqualied him but felt that would be too harsh Shadow

I thank the author for changing to Contest name and have reinstated his poem to 3rd place.

Shadow, congratulations on your contest and those who placed. I was not one of them, but no matter, I have a poem that I love for my poetry collection, so that is great, blessings

There is just one thing that baffles me, namely, how was it possible for you to congratulate Greg on his 3rd place win (under the comments), and then a few hours later, he placed 9th (last position) in the contest results list? Did you recall the results by resetting the contest, and then redoing it all? I have on occasion changed the titles of my poems soon after the results have been posted and most people seem to be OK with it, especially if the contest had called for a specific title. It seems to be quite a common practice and not a mistake.

It was only when I went to the results page to email the winners that I found he had put Only one true thing before his entry. All he has to do is remove it and use contest title and then and only then I will put him back to 3rd place. It is not fair to the other contestants who followed the rules otherwise

I believe this was not intentional on the poet's part but a genuine mistake
