I was lucky enough from 2 years old to mainly live first in Las Palmos then at 8 we moved to Tanganika whIch was a wonderful place to live and I saw many things and had great experiences My poem Walk with me tells of some of them and left me with a great love of nature

I have now written 4 books with a 5th on its way then I think I may call it a day as I am not in the best of health life can be a stuggle And my 75 th birhday is in March

Sorry folkes and friends

I hate hate and detest the cold of winter I go into semi hibernation once the temp drops into single figures each year it seems to get worst. I am a child of Spring, loving the warmth that comes with it, the sounds and signs of rebirth the Spring flowers filling the world full of colour and the scent of nature that floods the world. I will not be on much until it warms up so don't worry see you in the Spring hugs Shadow

With a winter birthday I have to admit I do love winter and feel energized by staying inside writing, baking, cooking, creating, skiing and crafting but, like you, when spring arrives I love throwing off the galoshes and heavy coat in the spring. My northwest heritage surfaces. I hope you stay well this winter and look forward to your spring coming out celebration! Blessings!

Oh you literally said you’re a “child of Spring” in the blog, shows my reading comprehension lol. Snow is pretty from afar and when it’s too busy to stay grounded.

I feel you, Shadow, it’s like a whole new personality with a different set of memories re-emerges when winter approaches, and I always feel so much darker, heavier, and sad. I am curious, were you born in the Spring or Summer? After talking to some people it seems like people may prefer the season they were born in lol. Anyway, cheers to a quick rebirth to the coming Spring.

Shadow, I am exactly the opposite, I was born in a snowstorm and have always had a affinity with snow. Where I live it gets very cold way, way below zero, in winter and I love going for walks on the coldest days, dressed up warm, of course, the cold temps do not bother me, but I also enjoy the warmth and am always happy for those first spring days, Constance

And I’ll add that I love the Autumn with its fresh air, the humidity having gone away…time for sweaters and football (the past high school games) I was born in October, Gal-friends :)

I was spoilt as a child Connie first in the Canaries from 2years old then East Africa from 8 till 18 so nowadays feel the cold of winter I do love to see the snow from a toasty room hugs Shadow

I forgot where you live, Shadow. Strangely, in my area, the winters are nowhere as cold or snowy as I remember in my youth. Even my home state is not as bad. I am traveling for thanksgiving and sure don't want to run into bad weather on the road. Take care, and stay warm.
