That is, for the warm welcome back. PS seems to be friendlier, kinder, gentler these days, and we all agree that's a good thing, right? Of course you do.
Now I have some potentially good news. Ready? It's very possible that some of our missing premier poets may consider becoming active again. This is your chance to encourage them in your comments. They are:
Becca Teagan
Charmaine Chircop
Maria Williams
Silent one (?)
Becca excels at free verse relationship poetry. But her best effort (IMHO) is the gem - I am Poetry. She also has done done some beautiful readings set to background music and nature photos on YouTube.
Charmaine's special niche is romance mixed in with awesome nature vistas. Her poetry is charming and endearing. Her words are pretty. You absolutely have to read - The Sky She Sees is Beautiful. Hoping one day she might grace me with a collaborative effort.
Maria, like myself, is a storyteller at heart. Her word choices are sophisticated, elegant. Her stories are imaginative and usually come with lessons to be learned. I have had the privilege of collaborating with her more than once, as I have also with Becca and Silent One.
Silent One. Need I say more? You are well acquainted with his excellent free verse poetry, often tackling dark or tragic themes, though he can surprise you with a sensitive love poem too.
Wouldn't you love to welcome them back again? There are others too who might consider returning if the waters are safe and the soup is nourishing.
Hey, have a great weekend!
