As Sandy bears down on us with temper flairing and arms swinging, she is raging out of control. Moody and unpredictable. ( Not unlike a woman with p.m.s. ? )
For family and friends on the "east coast" please be safe. For those in Ontario and Quebec, keep your heads down, she is UGLY

My head is down, my fingers crossed, the cupboards stocked, the propane filled and ready to use when the hydro goes out. Winds are wicked and the water is coming down. The river out back is rising... getting a bit worried. Our worst time is suppose to be between 8pm and 8am tonight. Take care all. Lee

The wind has just begun. They are calling for 100 K winds (er, I think that is about 60 mph. I bought a battery operated lantern today and we are well stocked with water. I am more worried about my hubby getting home after his shift. The worst is supposed to hit sometime tomorrow. I hope and pray everyone is okay! I wouldn't mind the electricity going out for a day -- we have lots of sweaters and blankets... I think of the horrors of Haiti, those poor people who have had even the squalor and tents they still live in, once again destroyed. What's a power outage compared to THAT? Nothing... But I am fretting for those on the coast! May there be NO loss of life! xox

Cory! Be careful...u might lose your power again!...I know Michael is hankering down getting ready for Sandy to hit NY! I pray no one gets hurt...I took my doggie for a walk and he about blew away...I am 5 hrs from the eastern seaboard and we are having 55 mph winds here in Ohio...BE SAFE SOUPERS!!

we are having strong winds and lots of power outages. WE lost our power at 230 pm and got it back around 630 pm.. hopefully we keep it for the duration of the night stay safe everyone.
