Clutch reality in one hand and illusion in the other. Bribe yourself into the thought of your nonexistent presence and contemplate the two forces of entity. Stare at the hand of reality as it wrests all beings with its potency and strength. Stare at its sublime power of control and ability to just be. Sense its essential meaning of satisfaction and reasonable happiness. Smell its rational odor. Now, stare at the hand of illusion as it seduces your mind with its telepathic vibes. Stare at its enticing nonchalance and harmony. Sense its beguiling satisfaction seizing your soul with concealed hymns of attraction. Bribe yourself into the hand of egress and into reality's disguise.

Life is all about the obstacles that one either chooses to surpass or to be conquered by. Reality is the soul’s true satisfaction. It is the full coexistence of a being with his/her dilemmas. Reality is the patience before the resolution and the fulfillment afterwards. It is the one road taken to every denouement.

Illusions on the other hand, are the prostitutes of mind. They are the many roads taken before reaching the resolution. Illusions are the soul’s sedatives. They are the satisfaction created by the mind’s deliberate games and not by the heart’s certainty.

To flee reality is to create illusions, and to create illusions is to live pretending…

seems like,the harsher the realities,the greater the illusions...easier to pretend and entertain the lie,than to face the truth and properly deal with it....maybe we're all better off in "disney world" (just kidding!!!)...sometimes i feel a bit out of touch with eveything going on,without access to the internet right now....but whenever i get a chance,i like to stop by and say HI !!!....chat with you soon Foo-Foo.....always , jay

Young One, At my age reality is okay but the illusions are great. Just joking. There is much truth to this blog. Too many lives wasted in deep thought with illusions and not the reality of the situations. You are still way ahead of your years intellectually and probably light years ahead of this poet intellectually. God Bless. Vince

I agree with Nathan, Farah has an old soul. Too much knowledge for one so young. Words impeccably written with deep though and intelligence to back it all up. Farah, the charmer :)

I'm so delighted that you re-posted this, Farah. I was not yet a member when you posted it originally, so I'm glad to have had the chance to read it now. This intrigued and interested me, so I took a peek at your earlier blog posts as well. The "Breathing Identities" entry that appeared just prior to original post of this entry is also fabulous. Your posts remind me of Fernando Pessoa - a Portuguese poet that I completely adore. If you're not already familiar with him, I'd very much encourage you to read about him. I really believe you would love his Book of Disquiet. I think you may find that he speaks a language that is somehow both familiar and rare. Take care, young one.

Ahhhh little one! Some agreement and some hmmmmm.....ponder me this....perhaps reality & illusion are the same and only chance hats when the who, what, when, where and why change! (Do not try to make sense out of a chaotic universe LOL your neural network will fry!)
