Thank you.” J<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>  <o:p></o:p> The presence of the insatiable desires of man is intrinsic and that of course can be certified by the mentioning of The Apple of Eden. I truly believe that Allah has made us voracious beings for a reason. There must be a reason for why man was made to “hunger” for everything from the very first beginning. Whether it was food, intimacy or money, man is always in search for more. Now of course the 3 examples I have given are but the necessities that man cannot live without. However, I have mentioned them just to emphasize that we are covetous beings by creation.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p> Now to look at things from a more “radical” point of view, I can of course mention the chaos and insurgency found everywhere in the world. Man appears to only want disorder and tumult. All that “peace” nonsense is just false hope in the form of pretentious consolation. <o:p></o:p> “You want peace, then stop acting like chess pieces on the chessboards of those who claim they are more superior than you.”<o:p></o:p> It is as if man is seeking the path to his own doom. I don’t know maybe the idea of self-torture is more factual than I thought it was after all. If man has lost the ability to tame his own mind and is trying to find a tamer in someone other than himself, then I might as well say “Bravo Darwin!”   <o:p></o:p> Yet as I have mentioned earlier, there must be a reason for why we are like this and that reason lies in something that you Jay have said.<o:p></o:p> “learning self-control and discipline”<o:p></o:p> Only those who learn to control and discipline their minds follow a path of balance and stability. They are the ones that find peace.<o:p></o:p> <o:p></o:p>

Foo-foo....first,i would like too say to you,thankyou for your kind and warm thoughts....this is a topic that has been very meaningful to me,since it is a subject,which either,directly or indirectly,touches everybody on our beautiful earth...it's my belief,that we have been given this freedom of choice,along with free-will,too understand the comparitive opposites,which eventually leads us to that higher space of mind,which is the order and harmony we so lack in this world of ours....unfortunately,we live in a world of different levels of being,the difference of ancient mature souls,and the infantile which causes much of the chaotic environments we all share and endure....maybe oneday,we'll all get it right,but until then,fortitude is an enduring virtue also,as we must stay strong,and remain true to ourselves....love your mind and the things you think,always have,always will.....until next time,much peace and love to you......jaybird

As usual, I am completely compelled by your writing. Such a magnificent piece, I also agree with Vince that I am quite disappointed that this did not become a hot topic. I was disappointed that this did not become a hot topic, Young One. I am not very self disciplined and the blog was intriguing to say the least. I am certain that until we reach that balance, and until we have a sense of universal acceptance, there will never be peace. Judging from what I see in man today, we might be DE-Evolving.As we become more intelligent we also seem to lose more common sense and our decisions become more stupid.

Hunger for power, egos of the powers that be, greed and the elitist attitude of the extremely wealthy leave little hope for peace. There is no peace as long as one human being is mistreated for his beliefs or his status. There is no peace as long as the Nancy Pelosi's of the world can deny minimum wage to a nation (American Samoa)to keep her husband's stock up. In my country we are being braiwashed into socialism, but the elitist are protecting their own.
