How can a visitor see my blog or biography?

Blog Posted by My Gull Wheels On: 3/19/2010 8:28:00 AM
I love this website... although I miss the days when we were able to work and network together through the discussion boards. But I have a big question... I am a premium member... but I can not see an easy way for visitors to visit my blog or click on a link to my biography... or blog. Why isn't there a link to my blog and biography when someone reads one of my poems. I really think this would add a lot of value to my membership and make it worth publishing my work here. For now I hold off on publishing some of my latest work because of this... it seems that the only thing this site does is afford people personal edification rather than being a more full and robust means to promote our work. Please don't get me wrong... I like being able to see other's work and sometimes get input from others should my poetry get chosen as a featured poem. Thank you. - Mike - The Accidental Sage

IN regards to Constance's remark, that is not what happened to me. I saw blogs and commented to them before ever becoming a premium member, and I asked some people here and they told me it was ok to do that. the only thing I could not do was to make my OWN blog, and I would hope that anybody at soup would come to see my blogs and comment to me becuase that would be awesome regardless of whethere they were premium members or not! LUv, Andrea PS I too did not understand how to see people's bios and I had to be taught. So do what Carol told you here. Then you can see any premium member you want. I really wish Soup would inform people of these features in a prominent place so that newbies like I used to be could easily understand this website! now I am wishing I knew how to delete my comments on blogs because I just did a really stupid thing in someone's blog and I know people can delete that stuff if they want to!

Can a visitor read your blog and bio?.. I think the answer is yes... but cannot post... for example.. if a visitor came on the site.. and clicked blogs.. they could see all the blogs.. and bio's but thats it.. just see... and read... to do anything else.. you need to be a paid member... anyways, thats my understanding, some of my friends come on to view my poetry.. they just search my name... they can read anything.. but no comments can be made.. unless they join as a free member... a free member cannot respond to blogs either... love Constance

ON the home page there is a Premium Member list on the left side of the page toward the bottom. Beside your name there is a little box if you click the box you go to the poets blog and your Bio is right with your blog.. I see you listed as Wheels on,My Gull or if they click on your name all of your poetry comes up. Hope this helps Mike. Love your friend, Carol
