Just thought I'd pass along another fun way to spread your poetic message. About two months ago I listed a poetry page" Robert Gene Stoner Jr - poet", on Facebook. I post a poem every week and during holidays I post a series of holiday related poems. I just topped my largest readership ( Views ) for a day 527 toping my second highest 454 for a veterans day write. I also post my ongoing book signings and other special events pertinent to my poetry journey. I now have 76 dedicated followers who future share my work with their friends, give feedback and encouragement. Perhaps this is something others in the Soup would be interested in to share their message. There is an audience for your work, you just need to offer it. I wish all my PS friends a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Robert, I just can't imagine this happening for myself. I can't even get many people to visit my weekly movie reviews, and people are more interested in movies generally than poems! (and my reviews are short!) Anyway, BIG congrats on your success with that. I see other poets doing this kind of thing and not being successful at it. I rarely go on FB so I guess it is all about one's dedication to it!

Andrea, of all people to fain success. Your work is exemplary and so deserving of acclaim. Facebook is so easy and no cost other than an few minutes to set up a poetry page and post a poem a week. Your friends will spread the word for you and their friends spread it further. Soon you will have a following wanting to read your work. I have had requests for a book of my work and I don't hold a glimmer beside your rich glow. I went shopping downtown the other day and a woman said he's a local poet as they walked by. Can you imagine my pride at public recognition in the town where I live? Spread your message they will come.
