Hi folks,

The contest I am now running has a place for poetry about Jesus, Jesus whom the Christians call the Messiah. Even the way time was kept was changed by the "coming" and the death of Jesus.

I run contests constantly, it is my joy to read your verses and I am always amazed at how I get at least half a dozen writes on Jesus in every contest NO MATTER the TOPIC.....

Now, you have a topic were it is DESIRABLE to write of your beliefs, your faith and I think I have 1 on the topic??? Perhaps you didn't realize what A.D. meant?

The term Anno Domini is Medieval Latin, translated as In the year of (the/Our) Lord. It is sometimes specified more fully as Anno Domini Nostri Iesu (Jesu) Christi ("In the Year of Our Lord Jesus Christ").

So, feel free to write of happening during the life of Jesus or after......

[of course you can use A.D. to stand for something else? If you don't want to write of your relationship to Jesus]

Yes Chris of course just write how you feel it relates to AD if you think it's unclear on the bottom as a note.
