Hi everyone,

Danetta & Robert are being joined by Teppo. Hopefully tomorrow we will have a verse up by Teppo. Below are two more good examples of different sonnet forms. Robert & Danetta are growing in leaps & bounds!

TEARS OF FORSAKEN CLOSENESS
by Teppo Grén

I adore your elegance and beauty
which sets alight my life's passion with hope.
Comply with these feelings, my yearning heart's
bewitched by burning arrows of my love.
Pursue, I will my desire to hold you.
Affection’s zealous promise of amour
renews, unchains, releases my self doubt,
reflection, and shadows of past shyness.
My bashful silence is shed; hope is found,
unknown feelings rise which I must convey
by words of verse. I‘m cast off in pain and
alone, a fragile heart of kindness weeps.
Years of yearning to find true love ends in
tears shed, fanciful musing forsaken.

Alzheimer Signs
by Danetta Barney

A ll he knew was the moonlight shined brightly
L eading him into the woods all alone.
Z ipping his blue jacket he wore nightly,
H e carried his cane, with each step he groaned.
E ver so slowly he wandered away;
I n his heart was a song from his childhood.
M emories and laughter would soon decay
E ager he rushed to the thick of the woods.
R ainfall muddied the old shoes on his feet,

S topped him cold at first, he turned to look back.
I mprisoned in his mind, he took a seat,
G rabbed his chest hearing a thundery crack.
N ow his loved ones discover him at last
S howing him the way home, no question asked.

God And Nature Are Foundations In Each Soul
by Robert Lindley

God and Nature give me such sweet release,
as both seep quite deeply into my soul.
Joined in this melding we race on carefree
and we in our wisdom dance two by two.

My life now consists of love of we two,
holding the joys in being so carefree.
Days and nights bring on our hottest release,
together build stronger each longing soul.

Nature and God live in a seeking soul,
creating scenarios for release.
Bathed in true light, they create sets of two,
with beloved brought pairs that are carefree.

God and Nature are TWO foundations in each soul.
the quest NOT CAREFREE CAN be a release.

Example #6 SHADOW SONNET

Spirit to Spirit
by  Amera M. Andersen originator of the form. M. Andersen
So many things have turned my spirit so.
Yet I do resist and yield to it yet.
Know that I give my strength for you to know.
Forget you? Nay, I shall never forget.

Left with my sandpaper dreams since you left.
Love lies in my spirit, for you my love.
Theft of your presence is not spirit theft.
Above all my dreams, I hold you above.

You now have returned, I knew it was you.
Waiting so long as my heart was waiting;
few have returned, yet you're one of the few.
Aching for you as my soul was aching.

War takes so many; yet, you've beaten war.
Door of my spirit, come enter my door.

I am sure they would like to hear any questions or suggestions you might like to offer.

Light & Love Debbie

I just this morn presented here my 6th and last sonnet in your 6/6/6 challenge titled, " Known Now, A Hidden Sweet Wonder Rarely Known". This has been a very rewarding experience for me and your kindness, generosity and sharing of knowledge is greatly appreciated my friend! I am looking forward to reading the other sonnets as they are presented. Will go check for recent posted sonnets of Danetta and Teppo now.

By the way, Teppo's poems will be true beauties I am sure. He is a natural and very talented sonnet artist as is evidence by his many previously presented sonnets so far here.

Thanks Debbie. Its been a great learning experience taking on this challenge. Always nice to learn all I can about sonnets, and even new sonnet forms. I see that Danetta's poetry talent is exceptional and her new poems in this challenge reflect that so well.

Thank you FOR Danetta Ruben! I'm sure she will be happy with your comment. Danetta is only new here she is a well published poet in her own right. I'm surprised she isn't giving me lesson! ;)
