Burlesque Twist-New Contest & wish me luck at the race track :)

HIYA everyone :)

I'm heading off the DelMar Racetrack...so wish me luck. I'll also be spending the morning at the beach (post time isn't until 2:00PM). So, hopefully I'll come home a littler tanner and richer. But, I'll probably just come home a little tipsy and a lot broke...but that is ok too :)

Anyway, I am starting a new contest.....

I challenge you to write an original burlesque poem with a “twist” or unexpected ending.

Do you almost always guess the end of a movie, book, etc., way before most people? Well, so do I :) So, when a movie or book DOES surprise me, it’s really cool! IF you surprise me, I will place you higher.

I won't be able to reply to anyone until I get back tonight...but if you have any questions, be sure to ask and I will get you answers.

Carolyn-I hope you can come up w/ something for me :) I was too late to enter your latest-It fille up so fast :) Hi Linda-I came out a little ahead-it was so fun-such a great place :) Sydney-really? I always thought that was just a rumor and that noone really did that sort of thing :) Nette-sounds good to me :) It sure is frustrating!

nope, I dont guess the end....but I almost always flick forward on DVD or flick to last pages in book to see what happens....just cant stand the suspense I guess L O L

wow Natalie two theme I totally luv.. horses ... and the beach.. this should be a terrific challenge.. I am an avid fan of horse racing too.. especially the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes.. my hubby and I do stake some claims on winning in those races every year.. hope u enjoy your day and come back tanned, rich and not too tipsy but feelin' good.. luv..
