Yassie it is fun to try to write in dialect, it is writing/spelling the way the people in that time and place actually SOUNDED & with words that are not common in modern language, it is not a matter of right or wrong but simply a different approach to writing. There are MANY dialect dictionaries available if you'd like to try?

I looked at her contest Yassie I don't think 8th & 9th graders can handle old English? & she didn't say it had to be new.

All of God's greetings upon you, my lady yasmin. I do beseech you to ask a question? Methinks tho art mistaken but pray pardon me, I cry your mercy ... knowest thou that twas been 400 years? Why, my verbosity alone is surely now being missed in some place, in some how. Fare thee well in your travels, and by fate we meet again.

Gosh, she does not want the sonnets to actually use the old English, does she? I was thinking she meant just to do a Shakespearean sonnet. Will have to check it out again, Yasmin!! How are you, sweetie?
