Poetry and spirituality

There are logic in favor or against every perception. To me , poetry feels like a soothing softer tune, like a lullaby, effective exactly as a pacifier. Spiritual poetry uplifts the souls enormously and at same time it touches the notion of a very important concept, can poetry itself be spiritual? Or is it a mere decision of the poet?

There is an old song. It is about the mailman that used to deliver mails in distant, remote places in old days. The craft of poems do come to me as exactly like that, an asset you will not covet, a gem you will not boast about, a message you will not try to decipher too much.

After all, every person can be religious, if there is an effort. But perhaps, everyone is not born for the materialistic world. Misfit and vulnerable a poet can one be, and can enter a realm of glory in the poetic world. One can hear the noise of beauty in falling leaves, Chirping birds and jumping squirrels. These are all mingling together, all mixing together to blend somewhere in poetic forms, words , rhymes and reasons.
