A letter to Prince William
A letter to Prince William
(Thinking he is upstairs, somewhere, these days!)
My brother was going overseas, then.
After the seventh try, facing the embassy, American one
Immigration stories, and these weird patterns,
Bizarre rat-race of their unique kinds,
one, then another
outdone with the other
My maternal uncle came, that evening
he was an Oxford Graduate in Comparative religion.
He named us all, with our good names. All of our arabic ones.
Except my nickname.
I have a special revered privacy around my nickname.
A very own.
The call of a peacock.
The magnificent, majestic and the mayhem of a blue!
And specially nocturnal.
Unique for a peacock!
The male one dances for the female.
Lives are not only merging stories,
these are diverging stories of the deepest forest.
A precious hybrid car in the middle of the night,
out from nowhere!
Feeling that there is not a single trip
out in the last few years. not even once!
And all kinds of persuasive writings
with all kinds of things out there.
Storytelling of lives before the holy wedlock
with so many fallible internet secret chores.
And about nocturnal precious nights,
that could never unlearn, what was dutiful allegiance is all about!!!
