Congratulations to the winners of the contest. Jugding this contest is really a hard task for me, that was why it took so long. Judging Criteria: I did not actually did everything on my own. The top ten winners chosen by myself tied. I was not able to distinguish the first place and so on, so I printed the ten out for people I know that are familiar with writing poems to vote. 15 people voted. according to the votes of the poem resulted to the result. I am so glad because the idea was great as I do not want to judge it blindly; as in choosing anyone [that would not be fair]. Thanks everyone for the entry. A great challenge indeed. The first place winner should soup mail me his or her paypal email address to send the gift right away. Everyone is a winner...

For some one so new to the site you have made your heart felt very fast! This was a very hard contest for any fragile, emotional person and aren't we all since we are poets? My verse never fails to make me cry. Sometimes I wish I never wrote it BUT I have it frozen in my head anyway so I thought it best to let it out. Perhaps as some kind reader said it would be a good one to read to "absentee" parents. I did read it to my father when I wrote it in my early 50's BUT it had NO affect on his future behavior. (sigh) Thank You Star

You are so right, Starflixer, EVERYone is a winner. I am just thankful that your group of 15 liked mine enough to put it 4th. I can't wait to read all the other equally good winners!! Thanks for making this contest. It inspired much good writing from everyone who participated, and I like how you got help in judging. IF i ever do a contest, I might have to resort to your system as well since I have great difficulty in choosing favorites among myTOP favorites!! Luv, andrea
