I might trust my husband with my password to my bank account, or even my email... only if He trusted me with his. From my point of view... it goes both ways... but generally... I trust no one but myself for the simple fact Humans are morons... (No offense) and they let people down alot. So the only one I can trust is ME.

and no one gets their hands on my money, or shares it. If you aren't in control of your money, even in a long term relationship, you're in trouble.

I trust him completely but he would never ask me. If he asked me I would share anything with him. That's the way it is.

I wanted to add something else to trusting people with your passwords. Here is another reason I do not want a "guy" (husband, brother, etc) having my passwords. maybe it is just me, but me and my "girls" talk about ALL KINDS Of weird , personal stuff. I have one sister of my five whose husband DOES have her password. I swear that guy is deleting some of my messages to my sister. Also, he probably is reading all kinds of strange stuff about me that is only meant for my sister's eyes! Oh, well, maybe it's just me, but I came from a really chatty, really female family. It kinda makes me shudder to know that my brother in law knows personal stuff about me! (I won't do that to MY friends and give my hubbie my password. haha) LUv, Andrea

I trust my husband with my passwords because I have nothing to hide. I can only vouch for myself and can only trust in God. Everything else is iffy. ***Danielle***

To be on the safe side we could say there is only two people in the world I completely trust..you and me and I am not sure about you. Oh!! I forgot about the government..NOT!!!! To be on the unsafe side, I completely trust my brothers, sisters, mother, wife, and children. They have never given me reason not to trust them. Mac

This is a really good question. I don't give my password to my email to anyone at all. (it's enough the govt. can see my stuff if they want to) In rare moments, I like to whine about my hubby to my really best friends, and he would not like to see that. I have many friends who do not give out passwords to emails(to their spouses) for that exact reason as mine. what is ironic is that he would probably NEVER go into my account and read anything even if he could! I have given my password to facebook to a friend who put pictures up for me. I trust alot of my good friends. I trust my husband and my mom above all others in my life. (just not to see my emails. hahaha). I can't believe I am the only one here saying this. OH, well, as for money, I loved Frank's joke to that one! Of course, we should not be trusting people with our bank account info. I would only trust my sisters, my few very best friends and my daughter! I love best how Andrew below said it. I feel the same. andrea

Good question. I would trust my sister or brother with anything. There are also a few friends I trust completely. Other than these, my personal information stays with me. I see you have sparked a good discussion here! Love, Carolyn

To trust someone: either a relative or a friend, excluding your wife/ husband. Some people are trustworthy, others watch every step you take...every move you make: these are the deceptional thieves who know your weaknesses. I have the gift of reading people's faces, and I choose those who have proven to be true friends. My friend, Adelana this is everybody's concern...trusting someone. If he/she is genuine, and have honored your friendship, you shouldn't hesitate to trust them. I thank you for sharing this contraversial topic with us at Soup. God bless you and may you find those true friends. Love, peace and happiness, Andrew.

It is difficult to trust anyone especially with intricate things like bank accounts and pertinent important personals... but I have four sons.. my oldest has his own business and is a great financier so he would be the one I would entrust with my particular information if I knew a situation was upon me and it was necessary beforehand to speak of these matters to him... the only person I ever had total trust in was my Mother, who is gone to rest now.. interesting random thought .. thankxxx ..luv.. The best thing you can ever distrust is yourself. You know yourself more than anyone.

My life partner knows my passwords and pin number. I've been with her over 30 years. I would also trust my 2 very close friends with that information, if it were necessary. I'm with Deb, I barely trust myself with my money either. :-D

I would trust my sister to do what I would want in a life or death situation. I trust my family to love me. I trust friends not to take advantage of me. My funds I barely trust myself with LOL.
